In late 2007, after some discussion amongst a few friends it was decided that there was very little available in the way of information and discussion about local motorsports in Central Victoria. This led to the development of a small pilot forum which lasted a couple of months. This pilot forum showed us there was an interest in discussions about motorsports and of course, the friendly banter that goes with the sport.
Trevor Lee (or better known as “Big Trev”) came up with the suggestions “Country Victoria Motorsports” and “Central Victoria Motorsports” which was then shortened to CV Motorsports. A quick search of the internet found that CV Motorsports was already in use in America and so CVMotorsport was then tried and discovered to be available.

The suggestions and ideas of other fellow members has seen the creation of a new Logo for CVMotorsport.com, the purchase of our domain name, the purchase of our forum so that it is now owned by CVMotorsport.com It has taken 12 months but our website is finally undergoing some transformations which we hope will continue to develop over the coming months and years.
CVMotorsport.com is now a recognised forum amongst people who attend Winton Motor Raceway, the participants and spectators who attend the Bagshot Complex and slowly, those who attend the drags at Heathcote Park Raceway.

CVMotorsport.com hopes to continue to develop its name through these and more areas of local motorsport throughout Central and Country Victoria and eventually become the premier site for Club Level Motorsport discussion. A place to share ideas, to share experiences, to share what events are on and where as well as linking our members to businesses that want to look after them.

CVMotorsport.com welcomes you to our community.
